DUI charges filed for head-on accident in New Sewickley

A woman faces driving under the influence and other charges stemming from a head-on collision on January 5 on Big Knob Road.  According to police, the accident happened when the woman crossed the center line of Big Knob Road and crashed into another car.  The woman in the other car sustained multiple injuries to her neck, back, and legs and sustained a broken nose.

Driving while under the influence and crossing the center line and causing the accident will put a driver in a position that they are liable for all property damages and personal injuries sustained by those injured by the driver’s negligence.  The insurance company covering the DUI driver will pay the damages.  Hopefully there is sufficient insurance coverage to fully compensate the injured woman.  Beaver County drunk driving accident attorney.

More information on this accident can be found at the Beaver County Times.
